SUMMER OF 2018 IS IN FULL SWING...

Summer on the Kenai Peninsula is off to an amazing start and although it doesn't look like we'll have any days off until October, we still get the opportunity to enjoy the long days and prime fishing opportunities.

For those traveling to the Kenai Peninsula, July will prove to be a busy time.  Lots of people will be out and about enjoying a multitude of activities.

There is a a bit of construction in the Sterling/Soldotna area that may slow down your commute to the Kasilof River or Homer, so be sure to plan some extra time to get to your destination.

Second run King and Sockeye Salmon will be happening soon.  Most of our fishing during the month of July will include Sockeye as well as Kings on the fly rod.  If you have never tried fishing for Kings on a spey rod, late June and early July is an excellent time to give it a shot!

Dry fly, swinging and nymphing will be the name of the game when it comes to trout and we are really looking forward to our scheduled trips with some great families on the upper Kenai River.

Looking to the future, we will be making equipment upgrades to our boat as well as to our fishing gear.  We are also in the process of booking for the 2019 season and we expect dates to fill up just as quickly as 2018 did.  We're excited for the future of our business and for the opportunity to share our home with visitors from all across the globe!
