FLESH FLIES ARE ESSENTIAL FOR RAINBOW TROUT FISHING IN ALASKA

Most days of the year, a flesh fly will often be a great choice when targeting rainbow trout in Alaska. Nearly every day of the year, some form of salmon flesh is present in the waters of our rivers and streams of the Kenai Peninsula.

In this video, we roll out one of the easiest flies to tie that only takes one material and is a proven fish catcher. Using “washed-out” colors like cream, ginger, tan, etc…, you will be sure that you are matching most of the flesh that is drifting down the river.
