FLY TYING SEASON IS UPON US
Tying trout streamers and trout spey flies is a huge passion of ours. Aside from fishing as often as we can, we are constantly at the vise trying to tie that “next big fly.” Though we have our favorite 1 or 2 “go-to” streamer patterns for fishing for trout on the Kenai River, we really think this super simple fly will product this coming season for us:
This fly follows a long history of rabbit fur patterns such as leeches, etc… It is super simple to tie and will cast easily as well as hold up to a lot of abuse. Since minimal materials are used, losing one won’t be the end of the world.
This streamer is designed to mimic a young trout, salmon, sculpin or leech.
Thank you so much for checking this one out and happy tying!
